Side effects of Topiramate (Adverse drug reactions):
Nervous System: Dizziness, Fatigue, Tingling or numbness, Memory or concentration problems, Mood changes, coordination problems.
Digestive System: Nausea, Loss of appetite, Weight loss.
Kidneys/Electrolytes: Metabolic acidosis (low bicarbonate), Kidney stones.
Serious but Rare: Severe skin reactions (Toxic epidermal necrolysis), Liver problems (Hepatic failure), Eye problems (sudden vision changes, acute glaucoma). – SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY IF YOU FIND ANY SYMPTOMS.

PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING:
Does Topiramate cause any risk if I get conceived?
Topiramate must not be used in post-pubertal girls/women unless few considerations to be taken care of, which your doctor will be explaining you.
For men, the pregnancy-related risks don’t apply in the same way; but standard reproductive counseling is still relevant.
